Sokol Construction (“Sokol,” “we,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or request a consultation, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out our consultation form, you provide your name, phone number, project type, and (optionally) your email, ZIP code, or a message. When you call us, we may write down what you tell us about your project.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records basic technical data: IP address, browser, pages viewed, and referring URL. We also store anonymous identifiers in your browser so we can tell whether a returning visitor ever submitted a lead — this is used for our own analytics and is not tied to your identity unless you submit the form.
Advertising attribution. If you arrive via a paid-search or social ad, we may record the campaign parameters (utm_source, gclid, fbclid, etc.) so we can tell which ads actually produce customers.
2. How we use your information
- To contact you about your consultation request.
- To design and quote the project you asked about.
- To improve the site: understand which pages and offers perform, and fix what doesn't.
- To comply with law (taxes, permits, subpoenas).
We do not sell your information, and we do not share your lead with marketplaces, lead brokers, or other contractors.
3. Phone calls and text messages
By submitting the form or calling us, you agree that Sokol Construction may contact you at the phone number you provided to schedule or discuss your project. We call with a live person — we don't auto-dial, and we don't send marketing text messages. If you don't want to hear from us, reply STOPto any text or tell us on the phone and we'll remove your number.
4. Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help us run our business:
- Supabase — stores lead and analytics data on our behalf.
- Vercel — hosts this website.
- FormSubmit — delivers form submissions to our email inbox.
Each of these providers is contractually required to use the data only to provide their service to us.
5. How long we keep your information
Lead submissions are kept for as long as we have an active or potential business relationship with you, and for a reasonable period afterwards for tax, warranty, and dispute-resolution purposes (typically 7 years). Analytics data is retained for up to 24 months. You can ask us to delete your information at any time — see section 7.
6. Cookies and tracking
We use a small amount of browser storage (cookies and localStorage) to remember a session and tell whether a visitor has been to the site before. We do not use third-party ad trackers or cross-site advertising cookies on this site. You can clear this data at any time from your browser settings.
7. Your choices
- Access or delete your data: email sokolcustom@gmail.com from the address associated with your lead, and we'll confirm what we have and remove it on request.
- Do not contact: reply STOP to any message, ask us on the phone, or email the address above.
- Opt out of analytics:use your browser's private/incognito mode, or clear site data for this domain.
Oregon, Washington, and California residents have additional rights under their state privacy laws (including the right to know, delete, and correct). To exercise any of these, contact us at the email above.
8. Security
We protect lead data with industry-standard practices — encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and limited employee access. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
9. Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
10. Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date at the top and, for material changes, post a notice on the homepage. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
